Stampin Up Spring Wreath

Welcome back! Today the project I would like to show you is the Stampin Up wreath. This is in the current mini catalogue. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to give it a try.

The project didn't take too long to do, although I will admit I had to wrap the burlap twice to get it right.

The glue gun was the handiest tool of the day! When I make projects like this that I hope to keep around, I like to use glue that won't give up after a period of time. This has happened with most tape runners.

So without further delay , ta-da!

Other than a bit of spray glitter, this is the basic kit. Nothing says you cannot add items but I always like to see what the intention was before I take it to the next level.

If you are interested in making this, I will be doing a class in April.

Thanks for stopping by!

The best day to blog!

Just checking in and I see my last post did not update! Many apologies. Let's try again!

It's absolutely white outside! Winter seemed to have arrived early this year- we were well into the deep freeze in December. Now it's February and here comes the snow!

So feeling a little grumpy about the weather, I figure this is the perfect day to post the grumpy gnome! This is from Whimsey stamps and I just love this guy.
I hope you do too.

Here is a close up look:

And the colours I used:

If you notice the round stamp on the front it says " ha ha do you know what's really funny? you are older than me!" I am sending this off to a dear friend for his birthday. The face of the gnome is the scowl that I think he will have on his face when he reads this card!
Happy birthday A.S.!

Have a great day!
