Your Next Stamp challenge

Today I am entering the challenge at One Crazy Stamper, located in Bolton, Ontario. They are looking for cards featuring a stamp from the company "Your Next Stamp".

The characters from this company have crazy big eyes, which I thought some googly eyes on top would be just the thing to bring them out. Have a look and tell me what you think!

The background is from High Hope stamps. I put a shadow behind the duck to make him stand out. Here's a closer look:

And the copics I used for the card are:

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy!

Happy New Year everyone!

The New Year always gives me a feeling of a fresh start! This year my theme is "purge".

Now those of you who know me may think I will finally clean out my craft room! Highly unlikely! Purge relates to getting rid of things like bills, weight, junk - and crafting is not junk!

But right now I want to share a card that will find its way to a post box tomorrow for a dear friend dealing with cancer. She celebrated a birthday yesterday and will hopefully have a smile on her face when she sees this:

The ribbon colour is representative of her cancer colour. The stamp is from Local Rubber King. The stamp is a sheep that has matching Christmas clothes, Halloween pumpkin, the graduate, and plain old sheep appearances. It also has dies to go with it.

I have a couple of layers going on here to get the effect I want. I used copics to colour the sheep.

Inside I sent along some greetings:

I hope everyone has had a safe holiday season, and will join me in the months to come on my purge mission!

Happy New Year!
