Last card camp post!

Phew, am I pooped! This 3 week card camp provided more ideas than I could get done! I tried to go at least one from each day and succeeded. Having said that, this my last camp post, I am not pleased with this card. I have mentioned that I prefer layers, and this card just needs it!

Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

A little vintage

And now for something a bit different!
This card was distressed, aged and inked to give it the aged look. The flowers were plain daisies inked up and squished to age the as well.

Please let me know how you like the card. Enjoy

Camera, Action!

I have had this Mama Elephant set for a while, I was happy to dust it off!

I was happy with the final outcome. I layered the camera and lenses to give it a 3d appearance

Week 3 Day 2

I enjoyed layering this butterfly! There are actually 6 layers there! This was lots of fun.

Week 3 of card camp

Wow, this has been a full time occupation! I have resolved to do only one card sample per each day of week 3.
Here are my last 5 card camp posts.

This card used some spritz ing and ink to get the great colour of the leaf.

Last but not least.....

A simple card, no layers! This was totally not my style. I much prefer some framing around the white space . This may still happen if I have the occasion to give this one away!

Looking out for you!

This card uses a window to share a bit of the inside pattern, with the focus on the stamped and die cut flowers. Not only is the main panel embossed with the chevron pattern, but the window is embossed with dots. Just adds a bit of texture.

Hope you like it

What's out your window? The concept here was to use a winter tree stamp, give it leaves and change the stamp to muli-seasonal!  I skipped the trees, used some cloud paper, high hopes leaves ( stamped and cut out) , the window box from memory box and some jolee embellishments.

New day

New post for card camp! Phew, I have to say this is intense! I am making 3-4 cards a day. And, even thought the structure and design are somewhat laid out, I still have to convert their product/idea I to my stash! And then find it! Ok. Stop laughing! No. I mean it. Stop.

Here we go! The first post today:
I loved the use of feathers. The verse used in class was "don't let life ruffle your feathers. "That will be joining my stash, but for now you can see what I used. My feathers are Magnolia die cuts and I used copics to colour them up.

Still more card camp!

From week 1,day 4 - where have I been?
This card is just pretty! I usually do more layers on my cards, so at times this feels awkward. But I like it!

What do you think?

They keep coming!!!

The next post for today is from week 2, day 1. Still the hot air balloon theme, I changed up the design a bit, and the colour scheme. We have started to get si many colour combos, I'm thinking its a free for all!

Have a look:

Next up: more cards!

Here We Go!

Another day of card camp catch up!
In this last week, I am striving to post as many completed cards I can, while trying the techniques and ideas shared at camp.

Today, my first post is of a shaker card. I love the hot air balloon theme and could probably just do that forever! So peaceful.

See you later with more cards!

3rd card camp post today!

I thought I had posted this already!

So still on day 3, this card also caught my eye. There was just something whimsical about the pinwheels! Love them!

Stamp set is hero arts. Enjoy

Last card camp sample today!

I tried the masking technique described on day 2- and here's my result. Switched up the colours, a I used metallic paint, so there is a bit of a shine to the card. Cute, but I have to say not my favorite technique. Just a bit too abstract.

Let me know what you think!

More Card Camp!

From week 1 .still - oh my, -day 3 I have two cards to share. Here is the first. A little extraordinary, which is what caught my eye, I offer a card for bacon lovers!

Card Camp Week 2 day 5!

Hi again,
Still with the homework, this card was from Fridays class. A little something more current!
I have the cards I want to do grouped into similar stamps or techniques so I can do them in an organized fashion!

Cars Camp day 3

Yes, yes...we are into week 3! Better late than never. I found this card similar to the one I posted earlier, which is why I chose to do them at the same time. It was quick and fun!

Card Camp homework!

I have a few consecutive posts going up. I have spent some time on my homework, and need to get it posted before Friday! Each day over this week I hope to be posting 3-4 cards. So lets get rolling!

From week 1, day 1

I did not have a bee stamp, that I could find!, so I used a rub on.

Keeping track!

Have you ever bought something, a stamp or die, went home excited to use it and found you owned it already? Today's words of wisdom are to share an app to help you keep track of your scrapbooking stash! What's it called? Ready for it? Scrap stash!
Thanks to my scrapping friends at One crazy stamper for telling me about this! I guess they were getting tired of the returns!
Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!
