Magnolia- Nativity Scene

Back to school! You know what that means! Costco has their Christmas stuff for sale!

But for all you card makers, you know that also means that if you haven't started making your Christmas cards, you will be burning the midnight oil to catch up!

To get myself in the spirit, I decided to use some stamps I had purchased but not yet used. Welcome Magnolias Nativity scene. Funny thing, only two wise men. I guess the other is tending to the animals.

I created this scene inside a small box. So it is 3-d. I must have used 50 percent of my copic markers to colour this. I added some flower soft in the front to create the grass effect.

A view of the left hand side.

And hopefully a sense of the 3d image. The box has a little ribbon so I can hang this on my tree.

Thanks for stopping by!

  8. Hi Julie,

thanks for stopping by - it is actually a decoration. The box that the whole scene is in, has a hanger on top. I purchased the box from ahem, Micheals (for $5!) and stuck the whole thing together. Next time I will make my own box.

  9. Very beautiful, Myra! I only have a couple of the Nativity images, but really would love to have them all!! I love how you created the 3D scene, and what a nice touch with the flower soft!!! Your coloring is awesome, by the way!!!!

  10. A beautiful card. Thanks for joining us at One Crazy Stamper this month.
