Christmas Themes

From a swap hosted out of Ottawa Ontario I bring you my christmas themed card. I have to say, my card stood out in this swap, if only for the colour.

All the cards that came back, were in olive green or cherry cobler. I don't know if I did something wrong, or just didn't get the memo! So here I am, black sheep card of the swap:

A white lie

Yes, I did in fact finish posting the cards from the mega swap. However, I have two more from two additional swaps I particpated in. "What?" you're saying? More swaps? As I bow my head in glorious glee! Yes, more swaps and can you imagine? I have inquired about just one more......

So, without further delay I bring you a card for which I hoped technology would support with "scratch and sniff" abilities. This card is embossed with clear vanilla scented embossing powder. I thought for fall, it should have that fall smell. Pretend real hard, and you may just get a wiff! Sorry about the flash, I need to improve my photography skills. The woodgrain paper is SU's new coordinations paper. Real easy to work with, and with the woodgrain embossing folder, it is an easy match. I used marker direct to to rubber to get the colours on the large leaf, then embossed it with the vanilla scented powder. Till next time

Last card in the Mega Swap!

I cannot imagine how many boxes and envelopes must be filling Wanda's house about now! She is out in Manitoba, accepting just a crazy number of cards from a crazy number of swappers!

Thanks Wanda for this swap, and for having patience with all the ladies getting their creations to you, some on time and some worth waiting for.

So, here is the last card in the swap, before I switch gears and break out into so different items.
This card required the use of the wheel builder. It was challenging. I tend to unmount my wheels, and use the stamps on acrylic block. So, this cause me to have paitence and think. This is what I came up with:

Enjoy! My thanks to you for dropping by and I hope you enjoyed the swap. If you would like to see what I got from other swappers, you will have to drop by. See you soon!
